It's my last day at my current job (woohoo - I am SO happy to leave!) and then I am off to pastures new next week which I am super excited about. I am almost as happy as I was when I first saw these silver beauties from Alexander McQueen. Sarah Burton has come up with a pair of almost ethereally beautiful heels, and the entire collection is fantastic. I may have squealed out loud and bounced up and down in my chair. Maybe.
"Wild Beauty" was Sarah Burton's inspiration for Alexander McQueen this season. These Italian-made silver textured leather sandals have straps crafted to look like leaves. I want to wear them with tailored capri pants and a boxy tuxedo jacket.

They look even better when worn (see below) and are a thing of exquisite beauty for a beautiful day. Have a great Friday everyone and a wonderful weekend x

The Closest Thing EVER to Real Life Barbie Shoes - MELISSA Women';s Gloss Pop Court Shoes in Pop Pink
I know, they're plastic. They looks like Barbie shoes. They only have a 3 inch heel. But despite all of this, these heels from Melissa are flipping FANTASTIC!
Made from soft but durable Melflex PVC plastic, the Melissa Women's Gloss Classic Court Shoes in an eye-catching pop pink feature a pointed toe and comfortable mid height heel. Accentuated with cut out detail to the heel, the shoes exude classic style with a low cut vamp and slightly padded footbed. A small 'M' logo pin to the back and a gloss effect finish the design.
They might be my favourite ever Melissa heels. This includes the Lady Dragon heels. And yes I do realise that's quite the statement.
The resemblance to Barbie shoes that we all played with as children is startling... remember these?
And now you can have your own! What do you think? Super amazing kitsch find, or just too sugary sweet for you to wear?

Purple Coline Suede Cutout Peeptoe Bootie
Gold Studded Mini Heroine Bag
Beige Hacene Belted Coat
One of the things that I love to do is shop off season. Whether it's buying bikinis in January or buying fur boots in the summer sales, it's something that I've always done. So whilst it's been absolutely scorchingly hot the past few weeks here in the UK (and trust me I am not complaining), I do love to look ahead and plan for what I need to add to my wardrobe. So with a new job starting next week, the past few weeks have been spent buying knitwear basics (thank you AllSaints!) and workwear for the winter. And then I saw this coat...
It's a beauty, right? Like a super soft stylish duvet that you can keep wearing on the train. It might just be the perfect commuting coat, and I am utterly in love with it.
The purse is McQueen...
Please please can someone gift it to me? It's just so PRETTY! Plus it would also be perfect for work.
The shoes of course are not nearly so practical, and unusually for me, are purple. You know it takes Giuseppe Zanotti to make me covet a pair of indigo suede shoes.
This of course has nothing to do with practicality, workwear or commuting. I don't want to wear them when it rains, on a train, or actually even for walking more than a few metres at a time. I just WANT them, you know?
What pieces are you after this fall?
