TFNS - ALDO Red Frited Court Shoes

The Friday Night Steal this week features these cute as a button heels from Aldo that will cost you a mere £60. Not as knockout special as the Valentino TFL perhaps, however they would get much the same overrall look, and look fantastic when paired with this dress:

The dress is just £20, bringing the whole look to just £80 - what do you think?

TFL - VALENTINO Red Scalloped Pump

The Friday Luxe this week is from Valentino and a new pointy pump featuring a gorgeous scalloped edge. It also sports three deep, rich colours of red, and has a rather beautiful slim heel. I think these will prove rather popular.

They'd look picture perfect with this little pintuck dress from Karen Millen.

I am hoping to see the shoes in some gradient metallics (pretty please, Valentino) as these fading back from silver, to pewter to a deep gunmetal grey would possibly be my favourite metallic heels ever. I'll keep an eye out for new colours and update Shoeniverse as and when they appear.

If you love the look but are on a budget, come back at 5pm for how to get the look for less.

There was a crystal (now sold out) version too - take a look here...

If you loved the High Street Heroes from Zara earlier in the week then you may well be rather excited in seeing the same style in crimson red. Yes they are still genuine leather, and the retail for just £69. They are an amazing killer High Street Heel, and I think these will sell out fast.

Pick them up by clicking on any of the images. Zara will deliver right to your door, and these sultry babies will be all yours!

Even designers get it wrong feat - CASADEI Yellow Fur Boots

Is it a (big) bird? Is it a bee? No apparently it's a designer boot. And no, I am very much not ok with them! Casadei have made some of the most elegant killer heels ever to have been featured on Shoeniverse, so it only goes to show that even the very best can (and do) get it wrong from time to time.

No Mr Louboutin, this does not give you a free pass for Cataclou. I actually feel damaged by the ulginess of those sandals.

The Casadei boots are bad, but almost in a comedic way, as though they should form part of some bizarre Cosplay costume. I wouldn't personally wear them but they are very much more 'strange' than downright ugly. What do you think?

Dream Shoes - ALEXANDER MCQUEEN Black High Armadillo Boot

These are just so very stunning that I had to feature them on Shoeniverse for my own personal pleasure! I've never tried to hide my obsession with all things McQueen, and the Armadillo heel has been featured before - but this cutout bootie really is something else. I want to wear it with little flippy lace dresses and then skinny jeans and leather shorts. They are an incredibly pretty heel that would make me feel like a million dollars.

This is how I'd most like to wear them...

High Street Heroes! - ZARA Beige Asymmetric Leather Pointy Shoe

You may remember the platform asymmetric Zara heels from earlier in the summer which were featured in white as budget bridal shoes. I am really pleased they now have the same idea but without the platform and have added a filled in toe as well as making them from genuine leather. This makes the pointy version quite a staple piece, and still coming in at just £69 they are very affordable too.

I am rather in love with them. They really don't look like a high street shoes at all.

Keep the high street nude theme going by pairing them with this rather lovely little bodycon foiled dress from TOPSHOP.

Gorgeous. Can you resist them? They could be worn with everything from jeans to a suit. Such a great shoe. Well done Zara!

Wedding Party Shoes - featuring DUNE Alvino Pointed Court Shoes in four colours

As you will all know by now I am not the biggest fan of white wheels and would prefer a nude pump myself. However for the traditional bride then there is much to be said for a classic pointed pump, and these Alvino courts are rather fantastic as well as being under £80. I chose to feature these as wedding shoes though because they also come in black and both a silver and gold metallic meaning that potentially the bridesmaids and even the mother of the bride can wear matching heels. Not for everyone perhaps but it would look rather neat in the photos.

It definitely makes a wedding shoe more wearable afterwards to go for a plain style that can be used again, and either a warm or cool metallic will go well with any shade of bridesmaid dress.

There is also the classic black suede option - and everyone needs a pair of heels like this.

Fabulous value at £79 each, click through to buy if you like them!

Whilst on the subject of bridal wear I also found this sweet little bangle that might appeal to some of you. I love the inscriptions around it - it's from Kate Spade and can be yours for £40.
