I did a little net shopping this morning and amongst the haul were a gorgeous pair of nude (or as Dune have termed them 'blonde') Allegro heels. They are a great sexy little versatile neutral pump that I am going to get lots of wear out of. Let's take a look...


I have been looking for a new pair of classic heeled pumps for an age and they are always too expensive or not real leather - and so I was delighted to find these at Amazon for just £23 with free delivery. I don't think you can go far wrong for that - I'd have happily paid the original £80 price tag for them, and yes they are real leather.

If you loved the look of The Friday Luxe this week but are watching the pennies, then why not try these pieces to get the look for less than £150 total. These boots from Jessica Simpson are of course not directly a style match for the CO Lucinda heels, however they do have an eye catching metal detail and are available for just £91.


They would work equally as well with an easy to wear jumpsuit, and my pick of the high street bunch comes from ASOS, where you can pick up this cute racer back number for less than £50.

TFL - CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA Black Lucinda Ankle Boots

I am so very in love with these ankle boots from Charlotte Olympia. Instantly recognisable due to their signature gold tone platform seen on styles like Dolly and Bonnie. If you like both of them, chances are that Lucinda will also rock your world. You might even be able to get away with wearing them to the office if you were to try styling them with a skirt and a masculine jacket.


Personally I feel a huge need to pair them with a full length jumpsuit. I love this one from Rachel Zoe:

DR. MARTENS 3989 Contrast Patent Laceups, Pink Spike Studded Laceup Boots & Hincky Smiley Face Boots

So, I've had my eye on both of these for some time, and now that they are finally on sale I thought it'd be a great time to bring them to your attention. I do really wish the 3989 came in a knee high boot but unfortunately they don't - however the pink studs bring a girlie contrast to the classic DM style that I really like too.

There are actually a lot of DM styles in the sales at the moment, so it's a great time to pick up a pair for the winter. If you do then I urge you to go with one of the bright colours. My favourite pick of the bunch is Hincky - very acid house.

Silvery sandal goodness featuring GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI Silver Crystal Embellished Metallic Sandals

I don't feel that I am overreacting when I saw these. Shakes? Check. Squeals? Oh yes. How fantastic are they? Just about the perfect silvery glittery evening shoe. And they are from my beloved - Giuseppe Zanotti. Perfection.

Let's take a closer look at the details because they really truly are rather special.


The anklet cuff chains feature sparkling jewels and I cannot get over how pretty they are. This also means that for n ankle strap that's not particularly dainty they also manage to remain light and flattering when worn.



I'd like to wear them to a really big red tie type affair with the following:

We Love Red Shoes featuring CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN Red Completa 100 Patent Leather Pumps

Completa is another one of those Louboutin styles, much like Batignolles, that I personally prefer to the much famed Pigalle - but that simply won't get the recognition it deserves due to sitting firmly in the shadow of celebrity favourite the Pigalle. I think it's a shame, it's a truly beautiful and elegant pump that would look amazing worn in so many ways.


The shape of the asymmetric low cut vamp is pretty special... take a look!
