I remember seeing these pointed Prop platforms at ASOS what seems like an age ago and promptly forgot to ever feature them on Shoeniverse. Oops! Anyway, here they are now, and guess what? They're now on sale too - reduced right down to just £25. They were originally £50 so it's a fab sale price if they have your size still in stock. Some of you may have seen over at Facebook (or if you follow me on Instagram) that I purchased wedge trainer boots last week. These, albeit in the brand spanking new bright pink that's just in at Schuh... Here they are below.



They are actually super comfortable, and very very cool. I had been tempted for the past couple of months for a black pair, but now that I've found the far superior hot pink I'm glad I held off and waited.



The other colourway that also tempted me were this Liberty print version, and it will be a wise choice for some. My pink beauties set me back £85, but you can pick these olive wedges up for £50 at the moment (reduced from an original £96 price tag). To be honest I love the modern twist of the hidden wedge and would be happy to pay the full price, so at £50 these are a steal.

Billed as beige (but they look cream/ivory to me) I think that for the vintage loving lady these would make the most darling little wedding slippers. Outlined by shimmering satin and leather detailing, sweet dainty bows are embroidered onto the mesh upper for a forever-feminine look that's bound to capture hearts. Surely for the right bride these are amazing wedding shoes.

GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI Deep Fuchsia Ankle Wrap Sandal

I should have shown these sandals before, and I've tried - no really I have - but somehow when looking for them so many time in the past few weeks I've been distracted by something new and completely forgotten all about them. So now it's time to take a proper look at them because as you can see, they are actually pretty freaking fabulous.


For me, these are all about the metallic heel and the inline platform. Not that I don't adore the lush deep pink suede upper or the thick almost comforting looking cross straps, but the side view is really where it's all at for me. I expected a black gloss heel, or perhaps ever a semi transparent tortoiseshell affair. Even a wooden stack heel. But no, GZ loves to surprise us with a silver high shine metallic heel that simply demands all of your attention. If you don't believe me yet, just take a look at the shot below...



I love them. Sadly they retail at £520 and won't me winging their way into my shoe collection any time soon.
