FNSA - MISS KG Blue Pippa Sandals - now just £45

Following on from this week's TFL post featuring those amazing Sergio Rossi sandals, I thought I'd have a look around and see what was available for trying to recreate the look on a tight budget again as part of the FNSA post to round off the week. Whilst not the exact same style, for £45 (reduced from £75) you can pick up these sweet Miss KG sandals with a gem encrusted t-strap and front which would certainly get you a similar look for evening time at a mere fraction of the cost. They still feature the fabric covered heel and I must admit they are quite a find at this price. They'd look fantastic for an evening event.

To recreate the full outfit look and get that red carpet style on a budget, try adding these:

COAST
Blue Lianna Duchess Satin Dress - £50 (was £150)
FRENCH CONNECTION
Blue Sageres Sequin Envelope Clutch - £35 (was (£75)

The whole outfit adds up to £170 of savings on the original retail prices and comes in at £130. Pretty amazing.

TFL - SERGIO ROSSI Blue Jewelled Strappy Sandals

The Friday Luxe this week comes in the form of these jewel encrusted silk sandals from Sergio Rossi. Available from Far Fetch and coming in at over £1200, they really are a true TFL pick. The vibrant colours and the t-strap make them extremely special in my opinion, and I love the blue gently fluted heel. If I had to pick any fault with them at all, I suppose that I'd have preferred for the t-strap to have also had the turquoise blue gemstones, but they are so special as they are that I would be utterly enchanted to meet them in person. I can imagine myself just staring down at my feet and smiling while i wave them about underneath the lights!

Let's take a look at some more pictures.

They are absolutely beautiful. Wear them with this for red carpet ready style.

FAUSTO PUGLISI Red Setadrap Sandal

I love these shoes for many reasons. Yes, obviously, they are simply fierce as hell and the black and red colours scream 'look at me!!!' which is all good. I think it's more that they remind me so much of my beloved Vivienne Westwood multi strap pirate boots however that really explains my sudden obsession with them. Not for the fainthearted (of course) they demand to be seen.

While I hate the outfit in the next shot (the skirt may be salvageable but the top is horrendous) the shoes look amazing when worn.

It's always nice to feature a new name on Shoeniverse too, so welcome Fausto Puglisi, I shall be keeping an eye out for you and expect to feature you again soon if this is any measure of your designs.

Wedding Slings - NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD White Patent Leather Slingback Sandals

If you are a classic kind of a girl then chances are you might just want a no-fuss bridal shoe. You can't get much simpler or more classic than these smart slings from Nicholas Kirkwood. If you do like white shoes their no-fuss approach also means you can pair them with skinny jeans and summer dresses and get plenty of use out of them afterwards too.

They originally retailed at a whopping £440, but can be yours now via the Outnet at less than half of that - £198.

This is one of the very few times that I can look at a white shoe and imagine myself wearing them (in the right situation). I think with white jeans and simple pieces they would look fantastic, so long as I was away somewhere hot and sunny. I think it's the top down view of the vamp that really sells them to me, love the asymmetric front and the subtle half d'orsay style.

GIANVITO ROSSI Pink Bow Slingback Sandal

The pretty little satin sling sandals from Gianvito Rossi flew (somehow) under my radar and sold out before I had a chance to show them to you. However, as always, you will be able to set up a stock alert for if you do like them (courtesy of Barneys New York) and they'll pop you a message when they are back in stock.

That being said, these are pretty special. Because of the satin upper, to me they immediately scream 'bridesmaid shoe' and as they are such a neutral shade of pink they almost count as a nude shoe. They could easily be paired with any number of vibrant or muted bridesmaid gowns and look fantastic. The side view is pretty damned sexy, and I love the side bow on the vamp. All this plus a crystal gemmed heel? I think it's pretty clear to see why these are sold out...

So here's my pick of Ann Taylor bridesmaid gowns so if you are looking for just the right pieces for your own SS13 wedding party, maybe this will inspire you to try a colour you've not yet considered!

ANN TAYLOR
Green Jersey Shirred Strapless Bridesmaid Dress
ANN TAYLOR
Grey Silk Dupioni Vneck Bridesmaid Dress
ANN TAYLOR
Pink Silk Dupioni Strapless Bridesmaid Dress

Whether you want to match the colour or choose a deeper pink or a more dramatic contrast, these pretty sling sandals are up for the challenge.

KORS BY MICHAEL KORS Beige Patent Leather Wedge Pumps

Somehow (and really, don't even get me started on my surprise at this) these stunning Michael Kors patent cork wedges made it to the Outnet. They were £170 originally and you can now pick them up for a much more purse-friendly £77. It might have something to do with the fact that they fit slightly large for their marked sizing so if you do buy them then get a half size down and you will be fine. They have a real leather upper and a four inch wedge which looks both wearable and comfortable too. I really really am tempted to buy myself a pair.

Here's how I'd wear them...

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN
Beige Lace Builtin Lapel Jacket
GIVENCHY
Black Contrast Print Vest
GOLDSIGN
Blue His Crop Jean
TOD'S
Beige New Dstyling Zip Tote

LOEFFLER RANDALL Stella Bow Flats in Black and White

These are my favourite of the pointy flats so far, I think. They are not overdone and still manage to look petite and delicate. Also love the studded bow. They were just shy of £200 but are on sale ans can now be yours for £135 if you wish to add them to your shoe collection.

Where do you stand on pointed toe flats? Do you like them or do you prefer more conventionally styled ballerinas? I really can't make up my mind. I like the concept of them but for the most part I still think they are not a style I'd feel very comfortable actually wearing.

This bow is, however, doing a sterling job at trying to tempt me anyway!

They also come in white too, which are really a little bit more Spring/Summer - and actually I think I might just prefer the white version:

OSCAR DE LA RENTA Black Olga Suede and Patent Leather Wedge Sandals

If you are on the lookout for a very special holiday / SS13 wedge then these from Oscar de la Renta are about as good as it gets. Plus they are down from a hefty £635 to £286 - so are now better than half of their original retail price. Still an investment of course, but they are a beautiful pair of shoes with incomparable style.

Wear them for a SS13 date night with these:
