Outfit Options Week - The Finale! Y-3 Two Piece Jersey Frill Dress Blackwhite

I saved this post all week because I think this dress is nothing short of spectacular! Oh and here it is on the runway too...



Pretty, quirky, striped, asymmetrical, with bags of attitude and real style. SO many things that could be worn with this, but I think some mix and match monochrome print and bright red is very much in order here!

Outfit Options Week - Going Tribal with TOMMY HILFIGER Orange Aurora Ikat Print Sleeveless Dress

I don't mind starting this post with a confession. I struggle with anything that makes me think of tribal. It's never long before the word 'tribal' is uttered before visions of leopard print and tackiness start to swim in my head and I start to plot a swift retreat. So the whole tribal 'trend' this year is a concern, although I am doing my level best to embrace the ikat prints, as seen here in orange on this sweet Tommy Hilfiger Aurora shift. The dress itself is plain and wearable, the question is, what shoes to add without it all looking a bit too 'try hard'?

I finally decided on either of the following bag and shoe combinations:

I don't believe the dress would look right with dark shoes, and pairing a print as bold as this with white could be a 'good taste' disaster!

What do you think? I love the dip dye bag though and this would also work well with the nude sandals for instant leg lengthening and a hint of colour in the purse.

Outfit Options Week - RED VALENTINO Multicolor Bow Detail Dress

Kicking off the final day of the week (yay!) with a pretty floral dress that is just perfect for Summer. One of the appeals of floral prints for me is always their versatility when it comes to accessorising them. From white to nude, green to pinks, this dress would look fantastic paired with so many colours and styles.

Taking each one of the four options above, here are my favourite shoes to wear with this stunning little dress.

Outfit Options Week - ZARA Green American Sleeve Tee Shirt & TIBI Isosceles Skirt

This lovely simple pairing is a Springtime office staple. Simple vest top and pretty patterned skirt, maybe with a shrug or cardigan thrown over the top for when the temperature drops. Personally if I was adding knitwear to this then it would probably be charcoal grey but the ensemble would also work really well with a white vest too - as below:

Outfit Options Week - PETER SOM Floral Blocked Dress

This pretty easy wear dress from Peter Lom is my new latest obsession. It's the little hints of bright fuchsia hot pink on the sleeves which as you can see below mean you can pair them with some fantasically bright pumps for the Spring!

So I would like to hereby officially confess that I never actually get bored of the versatility and ease of wear of pairing some well fitting skinny jeans with a pretty top. It never looks or feels wrong, plus you can always choose to make it as simple or dressy as you like. For me it's very much a wardrobe staple that I visit several times a week (as I am lucky enough to work in an office where casual dress is fine).
