As you can imagine, writing Shoeniverse regularly, I spend a fair amount of time looking at shoes and educating myself about new srrivals, trends, what's coming up and so forth. You could say that i am fairly relaxed about seeing new styles and don't often see too many that make me gasp out aloud - especially when they are even in my very least favourite colour. Such is the power of Yves Saint Laurent my friends, and the beautiful new emblem pattern version of the Tribtoo slingback. Wow.



They are reminiscent of course of the beautiful Tribtoo pumps, but I adore the new fabric looking python printed upper.

My love affair with Mary Jane heels is long standing and well documented via Shoeniverse. So it's only fair and correct that we bring some into our Spring style posts, and when I found these from Dolce é Gabbana I knew i had found the ones to feature this week. The rich crimson suede works well against a multitude of neutrals and floral prints, and they would get a lot of wear both for work and play.



They have a touch of the Irregular Choice about the shape of the heels. And now to style them...

There is so much monochrome in the coming season of styles that I thought it wouldn't hurt to squeeze in another pair - as it's time to Spring into Spring. This time it's a budget friendly pair (£39) from Zara, with a chunky wedge sole and a slightly retro feel to them.

They are rather lovely.

I had these boots as a Christmas present at the end of last year, and I can honestly say they are truly a beautiful colour and are amazingly comfortable. The colour is even better in person (they are AMAZINGLY pretty) and have earned themselves the nickname of 'The Marshmallow Boots' at work.



The fantastic thing about UGG boots, and the pretty new colours in particular, is that they are not only are the warmest, comfiest footwear on the planet, but that they are also incredibly greet to look at. The mini Bailey Buttons look a lot better paired with leggings and skinny jeans than the originals too, and I found them to be even more comfortable to wear.

With that in mind, here is my Springtime take on how to wear Mini Bailey Buttons in tea rose.
