FNBA - ASOS Black Asos America Leather Biker Boots

I picked these out as this week's FNBA from ASOS because if you haven't already become a biker boot convert (and really... why not?) then these little real leather beauties for just £55 might just be enough to change your mind.

For a real leather boot they are a great price but more than that they look even more expensive. Just remember biker boots look a little better when they have lived. The scuffs tell a story. Never ever polish your biker boots.

But by all means make them your go-to boots for any day that demands a little worn in comfort. they never look wrong.

I picked these boots for The Friday Luxe for two reasons. Yes they are luxurious and beautiful dream shoes of impeccable quality and style, but also because they could be very hard to style well. Seeing as this week's posts have all featured style ideas as well as the shoes themselves, they proved more of a challenge than some of the other posts throughout the week. the thick lace cutout vamp and gently fluted heel also makes these a style I would love to own but I know probably wouldn't necessarily work with much of my existing wardrobe.



So if someone gifted me these today, this is what I would add to the shopping basket to finish off the look:

These sweet little bi-colour ankle strap gem encrusted pumps would make fantastic wedding or bridesmaid shoes if you fancy something a little different, or even just to co-ordinate with a tea rose bouquet. I think they are lovely, especially with the green gem detailing on the vamp.

As you probably already know, I have something of a soft spot for olive green shoes. There is something so delicious about the hue that when paired with classic casual separates for daytime that just feels right. Plus add some gold for evening and you are never going to go far wrong. These heeled strappy wonders from Prabal Gurung are stunning and manage to fuse the best of both worlds with their blade heel and metallic platform. Beautiful.

These perky patent toecap pumps with metal accents are gorgeous as a day to evening shoe with real attitude. They feature a very wearable 100mm heel so if you need to wear them after work and into the evening they shouldn't cause you too much discomfort.



Plus their side profile is just so very sexy. Couple this with beautiful craftsmanship and real leather sole, and you may well feel that these are worth the investment (you will have to pay £621 at FarFetch to make them yours).



But how to style these little beauties? The obvious route would be a black bandage dress or a LBD of just about any kind. Let's take a look at how you could work them in a different way, whilst still keeping them very appropriate for dinner and dancing.

I was actually fairly certain that I had already featured Jimmy Choo's beautiful Abel heels, but it would seem not. Quite the oversight on my part! So let's take a look at them in the truly sumptuous gold glitter fabric version.



Real party shoes - especially with those amazing liquid gold metallic heels. However I would wear these for daytime too - they would dress up the most casual of shopping or lunch-out outfit a treat. Plus I prefer the shape to Louboutin Pigalle's yet again.

Jolea from Ted Baker is an unusual choice for me because I am not known for featuring many mid height heels on Shoeniverse. However, I genuinely think these are stylish and chic and still look elegant and flattering even without being towering heels.



But how to wear them? They make me want to carry through the colour blocking and pair them with some simple separates ready for work.
