This week's The Friday Luxe comes from Tabitha Simmons and the amazing Dee sandals in silver. Sadly they cost almost £1200, but they do make for fantastic window shopping!



These are most definitely red-carpet worthy heels, and I would imagine we will be seeing a fair amount of these. I wonder if they might just make an appearance at this year's Academy Awards on the 24th? They work with even the simplest of dresses as well.



Exceptionally elegant, plus they will look wonder under the lights too!

It's not every day you get to feature a pair of heels that appear to come with their own carrying handles. But if anyone was going to do it then JC was always a contender for the job.



The funny thing is, I actually rather like them.



I fear they might make my legs look like they had been cruelly planted into the ground, but I still believe they would be incredibly fierce with skinny jeans and a fringed jacket. Not for the faint-hearted.

I wanted to try to start off with a picture of these heels that made them look the most normal - but the issue with that is they don't really have a normal angle. The first picture if the best I could do. After that things start to go a little bit crazy...



That's right folks, these shoes have wings! I think the actual basic shoe itself is very nice. I like the square toe and the glossy black platform, and the colour of the midnight blue suede is oddly appealing. But why did they decide to give them wings?



It all just feels a little, well, unnecessary. They do have a gorgeous heel however.



Would you wear these shoes? They seem more like something a celebrity might wear on the red carpet than something to be worn in real life. Not that in a lot of ways they are particularly wacky or out there - they are just a little bit too odd to go shopping in.

Continuing the red theme, these tomato red suede heels are available at Net-a-Porter and are simply stunning. Loving the front fringing and the stud work.



They are undeniably sexy heels and would spruce up a LBD a treat. Of course they are not heels you want to walk about in all day long, but at least you will look pretty for parties!

I am loving these cute double ankle strap heels from Alexander Wang. They are perfect Spring to Summer shoes - once we get past the rest of this cold and wet weather of course!



Aside from the obviously gorgeous fire engine red upper, I have well and truly fallen for these shoes because whilst they have a host of talk-about features, for me the thicker heel would make them very very wearable, and it'a always a joy to find a proper heeled sandal you can actually comfortably wear all day long.

For comfort with extra height you can't beat a wedge heel. If the wedge has some give rather than being wooden even better in terms of comfort and wearability. So these stunning Pedro Garcia crepe sole wedge ankle boots are pretty amazing and perfect as far as wedge booties go. They would look amazing with simple dressed down jeans or leggings, but also add a funky twist with flirty dresses or shorts. Personally I think they would make a wonderful match to a charcoal grey trouser suit.

SIGERSON MORRISON Blue Suede Mirror Metallic Heel Pumps

From the front these look like any ordinary blue suede pump. They sport a comfortable rounded toe and slightly retro styling, while the suede colour is bright and vibrant. But when we get to the heels things start to look a little bit more exciting...

Bu the quirks don't just stop there - Oh no! They also feature a strip of suede down the back of the heel.



I am not sure that I want to like them - they really are not terribly 'me' as far as shoe styles go, and yet here I find myself gazing at them and having to admit they really do work. Naturally, hot pink peep-toe half d'orsay pumps are not the most practical footwear choice for a cold February Monday morning, but let's not let that get in the way of a bit of online window shopping!

Pretty huh? Although the model here does look like her foot is crammed into them a little bit, no?
