These cute pewter glitter smoking slippers have been discounted from £55 to just £19 - a total bargain and a worthy Friday Night Bargain Alert post! Pewter is, after all, my favourite metallic, and these are such a fantastic price! Sizes are very limited though so good luck if you want to make them yours!

The Friday Luxe this week comes from Christian Louboutin and these bright mixed media sandals.
I love the shots of hot pink, yellow and white against the textured mirror python gold metallic. The top down view is also pretty sexy. These are perfect evening shoes for a holiday.
Shown here with a coral sundress, although they could work with many colours, they look really dainty and beautiful when worn.

Kicking off the last day of the working week with a not terribly practical pair of boots in a gorgeous yet once again not terribly practical colour.
Pretty huh? Loving the open laces and the inside zip for easy removal. Oh and the pin thin heels look pretty special from the back view as well.
Gorgeous and bright to perk up your Friday morning! You will find them at Ssence where they are half price down to £450.

Of course, I have featured Charlotte Olympia's gorgeous flats before on Christmas Day, but I am personally more of a fan of the sky high heels with the signature gold platform. However if you are looking for some non-boring flats for work to make a statement then why not try Kitty?
I actually think they look rather sweet on.

One of my favourite styles of flat, as an ex dancer, is the classic ballet flat, brought up to date for the new season here by Chloé with these elasticated ankle strap flats.
These could be worn with just about anything too.

I failed horribly last week in my resolution to show you more flat shoe styles, so I am redressing the balance a little today to bring a whole day dedicated to my pick of 'wearable and anything but boring' flat heeled shoes. Wtether you find heeled shoes awkward, uncomfortable, hard to walk in or they just don't suit your career, so I am going to bring more posts also showing fabulous flats.
The pretty rubber flats are waterproof and therefore very practical as well as easy to wear and gorgeous too! The 3d bow is a sweet touch and because they're rubber they won't lose their sheen either.

Following on from the lunchtime post, I felt it was long overdue that we take a proper look at the nude pump version. I have loved the rockstud uppers for a long time, but for me it wasn't until I saw the very high pumps and the wedges that I truly fell in love with them. This is how you really should rock studs on heels with style and class!
They are, quite simply, breathtaking.
They look incredible on as well. Bravo Valentino!
BUY VALENTINO ROCKSTUD PUMPS
By default, I didn't want to like the naked rockstud styles, just because clear shoes, while extremely flattering, can make your feet look a little squished. However, as a work of art and just because I secretly really do covet the wedges, then I decided to show you three of the styles. The wedge above is a wearable 100mm and there is also a flat 10mm sandal, and a 75mm mid heel sandal too:
To really understand these shoes though we need to take a look at how they look when worn. I think you might be pleasantly surprised!
The only thing I am not sure about is the shape of the heel on the flat sandal - but I LOVE the studs on the flat and mid heel versions and think they probably should have added those to the wedge as well.
On the runway...
What do you think though? Would you wear them?

These are just so girlie and sugary sweet that they fully deserved a mention if just to brighten up your Wednesday morning. I love the sheen of the upper and the exaggerated bow. So amazing.
They are nothing short of just 'ridiculously pretty'.
They would also serve as a special nude shoe as well - and are certainly much more fun with a suit that a plain pair of pumps.
You will find them on sale too - what are you waiting for?

The second post about @ASOS shoes in a couple of days! The combination of hot pink and orange is always a bit of a summertime favourite for me, so of course when I saw these cute colourblock double platform pumps I feel in love, even better they can be yours for just £40!
It's really REALLY hard to say no at this price point. They are an absolute steal!
If you do want to add them to your collection then I wouldn't hang about too long as I can imagine they won't be available for too long...
BUY ASOS COLLECTION PARADE PLATFORMS
Now these are certainly different, but with a tan and a simple shift and HUGE sunglasses then I can see how they might work. They are however not for the fainthearted, as you must always wear the shoes - the shoes should never wear you!
I do genuinely really like them. I wouldn't go for these in a brighter colourway at all, but they are actually oddly neutral, and I could see myself wearing them to dinner on holiday. I do think they require a tan (or a naturally darker skin tone) to properly pull them off.

Of course if anyone was going to decide to make shoes themed around beloved TV detectives then it would be Charlotte Olympia. The heels above are called Poirot. That means they are inspired by this chap, a fictional Belgian detective:
But why stop there? There are yet more TV detectives to feature after all, so why not also take inspiration from that (ahem) cutting edge fashionista Miss Marple?
Here are the Miss Marple inspired heels:
I actually think the Poirot heels are rather pretty as work shoes though, the red brogue detailing is surprisingly appealing.

They also incidentally come in a blue version:
I am not as sure about the Marple inspired choice, the milky heels don't quite work for me against the patent uppers and the whole things looks a little to heavy. They are also on sale though over at the Outnet if you do like them. Here is the back view:

These gorgeous sparkling golden heels are available to pre order at Nordstrom, and it's really refreshing to see GZ make a shoe to very simple. As with all of his designs they have curves in all the right places, but the lack of fussy details and platform really does make these much more of a timeless classic. I very much approve. Can we also have them in a vampish red suede please? And black patent?
These heels are all about the back view and curved heel. They look almost retro and vintage and are begging to be worn with a wiggle dress or a sheer blouse and pancil skirt. The finish isn't one that I would normally go for as I usually prefer my high shine/liquid metallics, but in this style it works really well.
It would be churlish of me to try to pick fault with such a stunning shoe! I am sure that we will see this is many finishes too - they might just end up being this year's Sharon!

I found these gorgeous Guess boots on sale (from £276 to just £124) and thought they were very worthy of a mention. As the show and rain of recent weeks has shown me there is still plenty of wet and cold weather ahead for us, and so we need to get nice warm yet stylish bargain finds when we see them!
Oliviera is a very classic boot but with slight biker boot rock-chic touches, and so of course for me I love them. Only available in a UK4/EU37 though - be quick!
