STUBBS & WOOTTON Blue Skull Loafer In Navy Velvet

It's no surprise of course, as a longtime fan of Alexander McQueen and the skull motif, that I do indeed love these little loafer slippers from Stubbs and Wootton. Yes they are a little twee, utterly impractical for a winter shoe being blue velvet, and yes they have a hint of 'British Eccentric' about them. But isn't that the point? Should we not revel in these designs, and enjoy them for the frivolous fancy that they are? Can we not just appreciate them for being beautiful and fun?

I think so. I'd love to wear them. I shall hope to find them in crimson red and then I might just be tempted...
