For ladies who love their block heels or simply are after a more wearable sandal, the retro inspired Morphea slingbacks are a definite contender. I can struggle with the concept of black sandals and also block heels, but these look very European-style - they would work with everything from a shift and light trench to a suit, or even jeans.
