At first look these look fairly tame don't they? Delicately handles, gorgeous sheen to the metallic upper and a fine use of mesh at the front. But look a little closer. For yes there is indeed a golden pastry on the vamp of these shoes!
I had only looked at these in thumbnails when trying to choose shoes for the weekly shortlist of posts, and so it was actually a surprise when I looked at the high resolution images only to find myself looking at an actual breakfast pastry on a shoe! I don't think it ruins them at all, they are still gorgeous but it probably means that I wouldn't wear them myself. Such a shame, they are otherwise a gorgeous shoe.
