FNBA - Ayana black and gold platform pumps from BooHoo

Now I am of course not suggesting we make direct comparisons with Christian Louboutin here in terms of quality, however if you loved Maggie and are after something similar for a night out but on a tiny budget, then you can pick up Ayana for just £35. That's quite hard to beat.

I think they are a welcome addition to any bargainista's shoe closet, at a price point that's pretty much impossible to beat.

Boohoo.com have a LOT of shall we say 'inspired by' designs in their footwear range. Worth a look if you want a designer look at a fraction of the cost for a night out.

That's the lot for the week - if you are having a Halloween party over the weekend feel free to post what you are wearing including what shoes you paired your outfit with! Shoeniverse will be back with another week load of posts Monday at 9am,

TFL #2 - Maggie toe cap platform heels by Christian Louboutin

icon

Yes it's a two parter of The Friday Luxe this week, because I just couldn't wait to have them both on the blog so I decided to bring you a bonus TFL!

icon

These heels scream Louboutin and are a bit of a classic, available in a multitude of finishes but all featuring that gorgeous metallic chain toe. Gorgeous.

icon

Enjoy the mid afternoon shoe candy, and I will be back at 6pm for how you can grab the look on a budget and still have change from £40.

TFL #1 - Linda glitter sandals by Jimmy Choo

icon

This week's Friday Luxe comes from the maestro of beautiful shoes, Jimmy Choo. Linda as you can see is something of a showoff. Girlie, flirty and fun, if you are after a little sparkle in your life then Linda is your girl!

icon

If you do a Google search for images of these shoes you will see them in an array of colours, and I particularly like the teal/turqiouse that's available on pre order only at the moment from the Jimmy Choo store.

These gold and aurora borealis multicoloured glitter seems to have less availability though making it slightly more exclusive, and I managed to track them down at Saks Fifth Avenue.

This is part 1 of 2 for The Friday Luxe this week by the way - check back in 15 minutes for a second TFL from Christian Louboutin and then again at 6pm for how you can get the look on a budget too!

Strike leather and leopard biker boots from Carvela Kurt Geiger

icon

Yep they are biker boots, with only TFL and the FNBA alert left I managed to squeeze in a pair before the week was out! And these might just appeal to those of you who are a little more 'fashionista' minded.

icon

icon

Yep studs, buckles, animal print - a little bit of everything - but would you actually wear them?

Bizarre Mojito concept shoes from Julian Hakes

icon

I am going to go ahead and quote straight from the website...

If you like your Mojito to have a kick to it then feast your eyes on this bold conceptual design from Julian Hakes. A singular wrapped piece of fibreglass twists around the foot supporting ball and heel. Finished with a leather lining and 9cm heel.

Hmm....

icon

They really deeply do not do it for me. Any takers?

High Street Thursday - Blake glitter bow courts from Schuh

icon

These shoes are beauties, and if you want something stunning for the party season and are running on a budget of around the £50 mark, then they are also spot on your budget.

I actually thought I featured these last week initially but I remembered they made way for another style, and so rightfully resurrecting them for High Street Thursday!

icon

So sweet and the thicker heel could come in very handy come party season should you find yourself a little erm, how shall we say it? 'Tipsy' :D

icon

As you can see they look fantastic on too - what do you think?

High Street Thursday - Pina Colada wedge by Miss Selfridge

icon

Oh how I do love pink shoes. I don't actually own that many pairs but I love to look at them. These are both High Street Heroes (HSH) and Pretty Pink Party (PPP) shoes as well!

icon

Miss Selfridge continue their fantastic footwear successes with Pina Colada, a seriously gemmed up scuplted wedge court which is hard to fathom that this is a high street shoe, and at an £85 price point. Fantastic.

High Street Thursday - Sinders by Miss Selfridge

icon

Kicking off a High Street Thursday today because Miss Selfridge have not one but TWO new styles in that I am dying to show you, so we may as well make it a hattrick and keep today for high street bargains!

Sinders as you can see is a very 'in your face' shoe. Magenta suede look upper with sparkles all over the large curved platform and killer stiletto heel. Oh and they will cost you less than £50 too.

icon

A little bit too purple for me personally to want to buy them (how I wish they were hot pink or emerald green) but they need to be shown as I know that a lot of the Shoeniverse ladies do love their purple shoes!

Keegan tassel western ankle boots by Sam Edelman

icon

A quick post to finish off Wednesday with something that is very much not a bridal shoe! Sorry for anyone not interested in bridal shoes for posting two on the trot this week, but I just could not choose between them - please feel free to let me know which style you prefer from the two!

Sam Edelman keeps cropping up for me this season with new styles which I love and the Keegan tassel ankle boots are perfect, I even love the name of the colour - beach. Perfect. Sandy neutral gorgeous suede boots with dainty twin straps and on trend fringwork too. Love them.

Wedding Wednesday - why not try silver? Mabel by Badgley Mischka

icon

Apart from having an adorable name (my puppies are called Daisy and Smurf, I would love to have a third and call her Mabel) these shoes are brilliant in several ways. Aside from the fact they are obviously beautiful as we can clearly see they are also appropriate for the wedding itself whilst also being killer for an evening reception with a simpler dress. Plus you really could wear them easily as special evening shoes (for anniversaries perhaps) afterwards too which would be a really sweet wear of enjoying your bridal shoes!

Wedding Wednesday pick - Randall in white or blue by Badgley Mischka

icon

Welcome to the first of an occasional series called Wedding Wednesday where I will add a post or two featuring what I consider to be amazing wedding and bridal shoes. If you are getting married or know someone who is (or even if you just like to think about when you might like to get married) then I hope you enjoy these posts and find them useful!

My first pick, predictably enough from me, is from Badgley Mischka. For me they epitomise 'Dream Shoes' and surely every girl on her big day dreams of standing tall in a gorgeous pair of very special shoes?

icon

As with all Badgley Mischka shoes the side view just kills me - they are simply perfect, plus the rose at the front is very bridal too. But wait, because maybe you wanted to cover your 'something blue' with your shoes? Randall comes in TWO shades of blue as well!

Velvet mega curve mary jane court by Giuseppe Zanotti

icon

Oh my, Giuseppe continues to slay me with his killer curves...

icon

The contrast between the silver heelless platform and the rich opulence of the fabric is just divine. I am well and truly in love with these shoes. They would be my ultimate dream shoes for the party season so far!

Clara in crimson red by YSL

icon

As you may recall, we have met Clara before in a previous post, although that was the nude version. I still maintain that these are my perfect nude shoes of all time, so when I saw the new red version online I thought it might be good to also consider the same style in a colour.

Luckily it doesn't disappoint.

icon

How could any girl just not fall deeply and madly in love with these shoes at first sight? They are a beautiful example of sheer timeless perfection.

If you are lucky and able then make them yours!

Almond knee boots by Casadei

icon

Oh be still my heart, these are just about the perfect knee boots! I do use that phrase probably more than I should, but every time I think they can't be topped someone comes along and makes them even better!

icon

The lines are perfect on this boot.

Now of course it's Casadei and therefore these babies do not come in cheap. They won't be winning any High Street Heroes awards from Shoeniverse any time soon! And although most of us can't just pop over to the Harrods website and buy them without a second thought we can fully appreciate and admire the design in all it's glory.

Round toe bow courts from Wallis in taupe

I am just going to let you go ahead and enjoy the image above for a minute... you can come back to the text whenever you are done.

How beautiful are these? I found them while making the last post yesterday and I had to show them, but please note as they are already reduced you can't use the 25% off code on this style. However, as they are already reduced to under £30 I think they are already well and truly High Street Heroes as they are! More pictures needed?

They would make the most amazing wedding or bridesmaids shoes and are an absolute steal for the price too - perfect if you have quite the entourage of sisters and friends to escort you up the aisle!

What do you think? How hard is it to say no when they are less than £30 too?!!

Ever after bow flats from Office in blush and black

These little flats are really cute, the warm apricot type of neutral, and finished off with a sweet bow at the front - what's not to love? Plus they are available in sixes 3-9 UK which should just about have everyone covered, and all sizes are available online at the time of writing this post.

I really love them - the colour is divine, and they are feminine enough to be able to celebrate with some extra femininity the odd day when the rain takes a small break!

There is also an all-black version if you were looking to wear them with opaque tights.

So sweet - love the bows and you can walk for as long as you need to in them too!

Party Shoe Shopping 'Kriss' from Moda in Pelle + new customer and free delivery codes!

As you know I do love some Moda in Pelle heeled goodness when it comes to party shoes, and whilst browsing their current online promotion it only seemed right to write about Kriss.

Kriss is the epitome of a party shoe. You can't wear Kriss to work unless you want to get some seriously strange looks. Kriss isn't practical. You probably can't walk or stand in Kriss for an overly long length of time. But Kriss is so PRETTY!

I do have a little bit of magpie in me I'm sure, because I am so very drawn to sparkly shiny things. And really because I tend to base what I am going to wear around my shoes, then it stands to reason that for party footwear then my choices tend to be fairly, um, shall we say 'noticeable'?

Not that these are the only party shoes in their promotion if gold sequins are not your thing (Kriss also comes in pewter and black too by the way) then head over to MIP and check out the other reductions, plus I have codes for if you are a new customer, and for everyone to get free delivery too!
